Development of new imaging techniques to study the brain in severe mental health disorders ACT192064

The project has brought together a multidisciplinary group of researchers who seek to provide a better quality of life to those who suffer from these mental illnesses, by early detection of them and, therefore, a better option for timely treatment.

 

The Principal Institution behind this project is the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with its Electrical Engineering Department (DIE-UC) and Biomedical Imaging Center (CIB-UC), in conjunction with the Universidad del Desarrollo del  and the José Horwitz Barak Psychiatric Institute.
